The Walston Ranch quarter horse program is made up of mostly foundation bred horses dating back to the 1940’s when Mill Creek ranch had acquired a horse named “Eddie”. Eddie went on to be a vital part of the quarter horse industry with ranches like the Haythorn and R.A. Brown. Dating back to our grandfather's days of raising polo horses and cutting horses, horses have continued to be a vital part of the day to day operations on the ranch. Though our program is small, we continue to focus on raising quality quarter horses that will work in the arena or in the pasture regardless of experience level.
